2015-16:
- Earned 14 starts on the season and saw action in 44 of the 58 games for the Cowgirls.
- Was named to the All-Big 12 Academic First Team, the third-consecutive year she was named to the team.
- Finished with a .255 batting average with 13 hits and 24 runs scored.
- Went 1-for-2 with three runs scored and an RBI in a 12-3 win over Houston on Mar. 19 in Houston.
- Went 1-for-1 with a run scored in a key 3-2 win over Northwestern in the Georgia Regional in Athens, Ga. On May 21.
2014-15:
- Started in right field in 49 of the Cowgirls’ 52 contests
- Hit a career-high .280 with 6 RBIs, 19 walks and 40 base-hits
- Performed well at the Mardi Gras Invitational, where she lined triples against South Alabama and Butler
- In OSU’s contest against North Texas on Feb. 28, she recorded two base-hits to begin a streak of 17-consecutive games in which she reached base
- Also compiled a ten-game hitting streak during that span
- In a four-game period between March 14 and 17, she registered four-consecutive multi-hit games, highlighted by a 3-for-4 performance against Arkansas Pine-Bluff
- Tallied three hit games on two occasions, with the other coming against IPFW on Feb. 27
- Stole 17 bases in 18 attempts, giving her the fourth-highest stolen base percentage (.944) in school history
- Led the Big 12 with .23 sacrifice hits per game.Â
2013-14:
- Started in 37 games in the outfield
- Compiled a .265 mark from the plate, producing 26 hits in 98 at-bats
- Drew 11 walks to boost her on-base percentage to .357
- Was 8-8 on stolen base attempts, giving her the second-highest total on the team
- Crossed the plate 12 times in addition to delivering 4 RBIs
- Finished with a perfect fielding percentage with 23 converted putouts.
2012-13:
- Played in 29 games for the Cowgirls during the 2013 season
- Made five started at second base
- Hit .188 with three hits and 11 runs scored in 16 at-bats
- Had a .933 fielding percentage
- Had a season-high two hits against Siena on March 23
- Recorded a season high 4 at bats against North Texas on Feb. 15.
High School:
- Was named a first-team All-State selection as a senior
- Was also named All-Big City by The Oklahoman
- Batted .533 for the Bombers with 40 runs scored and 30 stolen bases
- Also compiled a .638 on-base percentage
- Was also a first-team all-district selection as a senior
- Was named first-team all-conference as a junior and second-team all-league as a sophomore
- Played basketball for eight years and competitive soccer for 15 years
- Was also recruited by Oklahoma, Tulsa, Georgia Tech and Tennessee Tech.
Personal: Born Dec. 10, 1993, Shianne is the daughter of Donnie and Teresa Hughes. She has an older brother, Keystone, and an older sister, Cierra. Keystone was a baseball player at Oklahoma and Cierra currently plays softball for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Shianne is majoring in finance at Oklahoma State.
