Competed four times for the Cowgirls during her first collegiate outdoor season… Set her personal best in the 1,500 Meters at the Arkansas Twilight with her mark of 4:29.58… Ran at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in both the Mile and 5K.

Appeared at four meets during the indoor season… Placed second in the Mile at the Razorback Invitational with her time of 4:49.43… At the Eagle Elite Invitational in Boston, O’Connell set personal bests in both the Mile and 3K, with times of 4:48.87 and 10:08.09, respectively… Competed at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in both the 1,000 and 3,000 Meters.

Ran at the Cowboy Jamboree, placing 36th overall with her 6K time of 23:15.8.

Competed six times for the Cowgirls in her freshman indoor season… Finished second overall in her first collegiate 800 Meters at the Arkansas Invitational… Ran a personal best in the Mile at the Husky Classic… Set another personal best in the 800 one week later at the Arkansas Qualifier.

Ran unattached in the Cowboy Preview and Weis-Crockett Invitational, where she tabbed a 23:13.8 and 22:50.3 6K finish, respectively.

Attended Prosper High School in Prosper, Texas… Lettered four years in cross country and track… Was the cross country 6A State Champion in 2019 and 800m State Champion in 2021… Also played soccer.
