In the second, the Cowgirls held Texas Southern to 25% shooting as it took a 47-28 lead into the half.Â

At the half, the Cowgirls were shooting 53% from the floor and held the Tigers to only 24%. Asi led the way at the break with 13 points.Â

Coming out of the locker room, Asi hit back-to-back three-pointers to extend the Cowgirl lead to 23.Â
