Stailee Heard Earns Naismith Player of the Week Honors

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's Stailee Heard garnered national recognition on Monday after being named the Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Player of the Week.
A native of Sapulpa, Okla., Heard was instrumental in a pair of Cowgirl victories during the week.
Heard logged her third consecutive 20-point outing in OSU's 85-76 win at Kansas during the midweek. The junior hit six of her 13 shots from the floor and all seven of her free-throw attempts on her way to a team-high 21 points.
Additionally, she grabbed a game-high nine rebounds to go with three assists, three steals and a blocked shot.
On Sunday, Heard turned in a historic performance in OSU's 86-58 victory over No. 19 Iowa State. The All-American logged just the third triple-double in school history, finishing with 18 points and career highs with 17 rebounds and 10 assists. She joins former All-Americans Brittney Martin and Natasha Mack as the only Cowgirls to achieve the feat.
Heard also had a pair of steals and a block against the Cyclones.
