Cowgirl Soccer Signs UK Standout

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has added international star Chloe McHugh to its incoming class for 2026.
A native of Manchester, England, McHugh is a defender who will be a freshman for the Cowgirls this season.
"We're very excited for the things Chloe adds to our squad," said OSU head coach Colin Carmichael. "She is a very physical defender who loves to compete, and she will add a toughness to our back line immediately. She has great ability to pick passes during the build up phase from the back. And she has captained her club teams for a number of years and has terrific leadership qualities."
McHugh is currently a captain for Liverpool Women's FC U21s, where she has played since 2022, and she has been called into training Liverpool Women's First Team. She previously played with and captained Manchester United youth teams for seven years from 2017-22.
McHugh was in integral part of the Liverpool FC team that won the PGA League championship in 2025.
At the high school level, McHugh helped lead Saddleworth School to the Manchester Schools County Cup championship during the 2023-24 season.
