STILLWATER -Â The 2026-27 NFL regular season reached its seventh week this past weekend, with former Cowboys at the center of several storylines.
Ollie Gordon II powered the Miami Dolphins to their first win of the season, a 28-25 victory over the New York Jets. Gordon rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown, scoring on a 1-yard run in the first quarter and later helping seal the win with a 14-yard run on the Dolphins' final drive. It was also the first win for coach Jeff Hafley. Miami improved to 1-5 and hosts the New England Patriots in Week 8.
Jaylen Warren led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 16-10 win over the New Orleans Saints in the NFL's first regular-season game in Paris. Warren rushed 18 times for 101 yards, many of them on third and short, and caught three passes for 36 yards as Pittsburgh converted 10 of 16 third downs. The Steelers improved to 5-2 and host the Cleveland Browns next Sunday.
Chuba Hubbard and the Carolina Panthers fell 43-13 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Bank of America Stadium. Hubbard was limited to seven carries for 33 yards one week after rushing for 120 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles. Carolina dropped to 3-3 and visits the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Oct. 29.
Justice Hill and the Baltimore Ravens lost 35-13 to the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium, without quarterback Lamar Jackson. Hill had just three carries for seven yards.Â
The San Francisco 49ers, who have linebacker Nick Martin on their roster, saw their unbeaten start end with a 29-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta capitalized on four turnovers.
The Detroit Lions, with Malcolm Rodriguez, Tyler Lacy and Tay Martin on their roster, beat the Green Bay Packers 20-17 at Ford Field on a 22-yard field goal by Jake Bates as time expired. Detroit won its first NFC North game of the season and improved to 4-2 coming out of its bye week.
The former Cowboys will look to build on their Week 7 performances as the NFL enters Week 8.
