The tournament begins at 10 a.m. CT and finals will begin at 4 p.m. CT. Gardner-Webb, No. 19 Little Rock and SIU-Edwardsville will each have 20-plus competitors. OnCue is the title sponsor of the event and winners will take home an OnCue-themed trophy. This is the first tournament inside Gallagher-Iba Arena since 2021. Three mats will be on the floors of GIA, with action happening constantly throughout the day. For the finals, the other two mats will be taken off and it will operate similarly to a regular dual match, with all ten weights going back-to-back.

Cowboy Debuts
Seven new Cowboys will debut in front of the home crowd on Sunday. The Cowboys hold the top recruiting class of 2026, according to MatScouts, and five of the six freshman a part of that class will begin their careers. Starting at 125, Rocklin Zinkin is the sole Cowboy at that weight this weekend. Zinkin enters Stillwater as a three-time California state champion. The Raney brothers, Jayden and Jordyn, both are set to debut, with Jayden competing at 141 and Jordyn slotting in at 149. The two twins combined for 11 state titles in Kentucky, with both winning titles in middle school. Moving up to 174, Stanford transfer Lorenzo Norman, ranked 14th at 174, brings loads of experience to the wrestling room, already having competed at the NCAAs in 2025. Michael White and Bennett Berge take center stage at 184 pounds. White is an Indiana state champion, despite not having wrestled until freshman year of high school. South Dakota State transfer Berge has more collegiate wins than any other Cowboy on the team. Lastly, Dreshaun Ross, the No. 3 overall recruit in the class of 2026 makes his long-awaited collegiate debut. This summer he earned a silver medal at the U20 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. Ross rattled off 144-straight victories from his freshman year onward, teching or pinning everyone his senior year on route to a state title.

2025-26 In Review
In his second season as head coach, David Taylor led Oklahoma State to even greater heights in 2025-26. The Cowboys went 15-1, won the Big 12 Championships and finished second at the NCAA Championships in Cleveland, where they crowned three true freshman national champions.Â
Â
At the Big 12 Championships in Tulsa, OSU scored 176 points, the second most in tournament history, and won the team title by 32 points over Iowa State. The Cowboys had eight finalists and four champions: Spratley, Forrest, Vega (in double overtime) and Casey Swiderski (149). Forrest was named Most Outstanding Wrestler, the first freshman to earn the honor since 2021. Taylor joined Cael Sanderson as the only coaches in Big 12 history to win the title in each of their first two seasons and was named Big 12 Coach of the Year.
Â
At the NCAA Championships, the Cowboys scored 131 points, the third highest total in program history and the second-highest runner-up score in NCAA history, behind Penn State's record 181.5. OSU had four finalists for the first time since 2014 and eight All-Americans. Senior heavyweight Konner Doucet placed fourth, earning the 500th All-America honor in program history. Spratley placed fifth at 125 pounds, and Swiderski (149) and Zack Ryder (184) each placed eighth.Â
Â
Championship Saturday belonged to the freshmen. Vega, the No. 2 seed, beat top-seeded, two-time defending champion Jesse Mendez of Ohio State 4-1 in sudden victory to finish 24-0 without allowing a takedown all season. Fifth-seeded Robideau upset defending champion Antrell Taylor of Nebraska 4-2 at 157 pounds and finished 21-2. Forrest, the No. 1 seed at 133, closed the night with a 5-2 decision over Ohio State's Ben Davino to finish 19-0. His 26 team points set a program freshman record. Redshirt freshman Cody Merrill also reached the finals at 197, falling 6-3 to Penn State's Josh Barr.
Â
OSU became the first program in NCAA history with three freshmen national champions. Vega and Forrest became the first true freshmen since 1947 to complete undefeated championship seasons. The three titles pushed OSU's total to 148 individual national championships, and the runner-up finish.
