Cowboy Golf Sixth In Hawaii Heading Into Final Round

KOHALA COAST, Hawaii – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 277 at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate on Friday to dip into sixth place at Mauna Lani's North Course.
The Cowboys entered the day tied for fourth place before posting their 11-under score to finish in sole possession of sixth with their 544 total after 36 holes at the par-72, 6,913-yard layout.
OSU will enter tomorrow's final round three shots off the pace of Texas Tech for fifth place. Auburn posted a 273 to maintain the team lead with its 529 total.
Gaven Lane finished the day just outside the top 10. After opening with a 65, the junior followed with a 69 to stand at 134 and tied for 12th place.
Junior Eric Lee carded his second consecutive 68 to climb nine spots into a tie for 19th place at 136.
Junior Preston Stout finished the day tied for 27th place after following his opening 65 with a 72, giving him a 137 total.
After signing for a 69 following his first round, sophomore Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson posted a 70 to share 44th place at 139.
Competing individually, redshirt freshman Collin Bond posted a 72 to stand in a tie for 50th place at 140.
Junior Ethan Fang rose 22 spots into a tie for 70th at 143 after turning in a 70.
