Gaven Lane Named Big 12 Golfer of the Week

IRVING, Texas — For the second week in a row, Oklahoma State has produced the Big 12 Men's Golfer of the Week with Gaven Lane securing the honor today it was announced by the league office.
The Cowboy junior used his third top-10 finish of the year to help the Cowboys finish second at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational with a 39-under total at Forest Hills Golf Club.
The finish marked the Cowboys' seventh top-five finish in nine events this season. Lane had three rounds in the 60s, firing rounds of 67, 68 and 69 to finish at 12-under 204 and tied for seventh place.
The Argyle, Texas native follows teammates Ethan Fang and Preston Stout, who shared the honor last week. Stout also received the honor on March 5, while Fang was named the league's player of the month for September.
