Jim Hill, Portland, Oregon
My thoughts are with those families, friends, and loved ones associated with the ten men who passed away too soon on Saturday. There's no way anyone deserves to perish so early in their lives. My heart goes out to those men who so loved college basketball, and loved the association with Oklahoma State University. People all over the country express their grief over this, and we wish Oklahoma State the very best in dealing with this tragedy. With love, Jim Hill
Andy Peterson (Norman, Oklahoma)
On behalf of the entire Sooner family, I would like to extend condolences and prayers to the friends and family of those killed in this terrible tragedy, and also to the OSU family.
Steve Denny (Kansas City, KS)
As a recent graduate of OSU, I became quite familiar with the OSU basketball program. My friends and I never watched a game on Television without tuning the radio to Bill Teegins and Tom Dirato for play by play action. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Teegins in OKC once last year. He couldn't have been nicer or treated us any better. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of the victims families. This is an enormous tragedy and everyone will be missed. Sincerely, Steve Denny
The Stith Family
To Coach Sutton and the entire OSU Family; My family's thoughts and prayers go out to you and the families of the OSU TEN. Our hearts have broken with the news and the memories of happier times seem distant. It is always easy to ask why? But through faith we know that God's heart was the first to break when this horrible tradgedy happened. It is through his strength that you will find peace. Daniel, Nate, Jared, Bill, Kendall, Will, Pat, Brian, Denver, and Bjorn we love you, we pray for you, and thank you for the memories.
Alan Good (Stillwater, OK)
My heart goes out to the families of all those involved in this terrible tragedy. Working with the student-athletes and athletic staff in my 6 years here at OSU (Academic/Athletic office) I can say they were all good people and I will remember the things they said that made me laugh. You are all in our (OSU family) prayers. Alan
El Reno Sooner
To everyone associated with Oklahoma State, whether it be players, coaches, or families I just want to express my condolences for this awful tragedy. Like everyone else, I am deeply saddened by what happened, and my prayer is that everyone affected by this will pull together and get through this. You will be in my prayers always, I hope that someway, somehow the loved ones of these victims can recover from their losses. You will hold a special place in my heart forever. God Bless you all.

Here a couple of short poems that may bring comfort in this time. I do not know the authors. Death doth hide, but not divide! We are but on Christ's other side, Thou art with Christ and Christ with me, In Him united stlll are we. ~~~~~ I know thy sorrow, child;I know it well, Thou needst not try with broken voice to tell. Just let Me lay thy head here on My breast, And find here sweetest comfort, perfect rest; Thou needst not bear the burden, child, thyself, I yearn to take it all upon myself; Then trust it all to Me today-tomorrow, Yes,e'en forever; for I know thy sorrow. ~~~~~ Jesus said,"I am the Resurrection and the Life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. (John 11:25,26 the Bible) Our prayers are with the friends and loved ones of each of these dear men who have passed from this life. The Borst Family

We have always been OU fans, but our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, & co-workers who have suffered such a great loss. No matter who you support, this was felt by all Oklahomas, as wll as other Big 12 supporters. Only time, and God, can bring healing. God bless you all.
Sherri and Mandy Stuber, Guthrie, OK
Please know that we are praying for the families of these ten men. At a time like this it is very hard to see anything beyond the next minute. Our own recent tragedy has changed the way we look at life altogether. It will never be okay, but we will learn to live with it. God Bless
Ashley, Norman,OK
I am keeping the family and friends of the victims in my prayers. We are not to understand God's plan but we should understand that He will take care of us in this our time of grief. I attend OU and this seemed to hit home. Life is too short to take advantage of it. Tell those you love that you love them every chance you get. With these words I depart. God loves you and so do I, Ashley L. Austin

I'm a Sooner, and I met Bill Teegins after the Bedlam B-Ball game in Stillwater two years ago. We were at Joe's and I had on my Sooners attire, I saw Bill and struck up a conversation with him, he was gracious and kind and was truly sincere in his feelings for OSU's team. I was very immpressed with the man. My prayers are with everyone involved. Matt
Stephanie Hanson, Tulsa ,OK
My thoughts and prayers are w/ everyone at OSU, but mostly w/ the family, friends, coaches, and team of all those who were lost in this great tragedy. May God shine his light on all those who are grieving for all of these young men.

Wildcat Fan Tucson, Arizona
I did not know any of the people that died in the crash. But I could not help to be sad when I heared the news. My school ( U of Arizona) lost the wife of mens basketball coach Lute Olson on New Years day. Tucsons lost can never add up to the pain you must be feeling today. I think I can speak for all the students at the U of A saying that are thoughts and prayers are with you.
James Jerskey, St. Paul, MN
It's difficult to imagine the sence of loss and anguish that those left behind must feel at this time. My parayers are with you.
Nico Beardslee (San Francisco, CA)
I'm a huge follower of college basketball. This is worrible tradgity and my thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the people.
Christopher Chase, Arizona
As I grew up I watched Bill Teegins every night deliver the sports of the day on KWTV-Channel 9. Arizona State University grieves with you all, and we wish the best for all the families involved. And Bill, I'll miss you most of all.
Dan (Manchester, NH)
I too would like to offer condolences to friends and family of the victims. This is a terrible tragedy that will only heal with time. For those closest to the victims, just know that you have people who will support you in your time of need. These responses I believe really reflect that. And to the faculty, staff and students at OSU, the best thing you can do is ensure that the memory of these people lives on at your college.
David, York Harbor, Maine
In the middle of the night, far away, you are im my prayers.
Marvin M. Bartlett, Lavaca, Ar.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of each of these men. I know there are no words to ease the pain and suffering from the loss of these precious lives. I knew none of these men personally, but through Cowboy Basketball I and many others felt we knew them. I want to thank them for the joy and happiness they have given me. My sympathies also go out to Eddie and Patsy who I'm sure considered each of these men as one of their sons.
Jody Garcia
Having played college baseball here in So. California, I really feel the loss that many of you feel right now. I always hated travel, and it has always been in the back of my own mind that I would be a victim of something like the tragedy that struck your campus. I will pray for the families of your friends that went down and for those of the pilots. All of these people were very special to their friends and families, having reached the level of success that they had thus far. They all were most likely the Jewel of their families crown. That is how I can imagine all of your special friends and that is what impacts me the most. I hope you all console eachother and grieve properly.

John Junker, Executive Director, Fiesta Bowl (Tempe, Arizona)
On behalf of the thousands of people involved in the Fiesta Bowl, please know that we're here to share a small part of your unspeakable sorrow. The college athletic experience is one we all treasure because of the friendships and family atmosphere that develop around such wonderful and talented young men who yesterday were lost to us. Our family here with hearts overflowing sends our love, care and prayers to the friends and families of all of those dear ones lost. Many of our volunteers and staff in recent years shared work and friendships with the Hancock, Teegins and Weiberg families, to whom we express our heartfelt sentiments and love. Although the darkness is vast, we promise to come to your sides, each of us carrying a candle.
Jennifer Brimage......NJ

My thoughts and PRAYERS go out to the family members and fellow players and asociates of those killed in this tragic accident.
Mike Fletcher Norman, OK
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those touched by the tragedy this past weekend. It is unfotunate that it takes times like these to all band together as Oklahomans and human beings as opposed to being separated by our school colors. I hope that over time, you find peace and happiness. Remember the incredible times you shared with the loved ones that were taken. And though it happened much sooner than any of us would have ever thought, the 10 that were taken from you now have the best seat in any arena. To Daniel, Nate, Pat, Will, Brian, Jared, Kendall, Denver, Bjorn, and Bill...you will be missed by your family, your friends, your community and your fans.
Andrea Moore, OK
It was a shock to me and my family. I want to let the families know that my thoughts are with you. No one will forget them. I know that losing someone is hard but we are praying for you.
Steve Gurley (Sayre,Okla)
My thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends of those lost in the crash as well as the student athletes and the athletic staff at OSU. Being a graduate of OSU, basketball was one of my favorite sports to watch during my tenure there.I will never forget attending the games at Gallager Iba and feeling the excitement in the air and the electricity throught the crowd. Last year I attended these games with someone I cherished and enjoyed being with and lost her when school was out. I know how hard it is to loose someone you love but OSU is strong in tradition and spirit whether it's athletics or other current events. I am sadden to hear that our "Cowboy family" has been dealt such a tragic loss. Just remember there will always be memories but the next time we are down by 1 with 2 seconds to go there will be 10 more Cowboy Fans with front row seats cheering on the Pokes and giving us the strength needed to pull out the victory. My thoughts and prayers are truly! with the families, friends and loved ones. May God Bless You. Steve Gurley Class of "99" gurleyfarms@hotmail.com

Although I do not know any of the victims, I pray that some relief can come to the families in the coming days, months and years. It is a senseless tragedy that happens all too often. Chip Mundy

I was playing basketball with my two sons and I overheard the incident on the television. I am deeply sorry to hear about the plane crash. Its a tragic thing to happen especially to people so young in search for a future. May you be in everybody's prayers and may GOD bless you all. Be strong and hold life close to your heart and sole!!
Tyla Kohlmeier, Wichita, KS
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those involved in this awful tragedy. I was fortunate enough to have been a student athletic trainer under Brian Luinstra at Wichita State. He was a wonderful teacher and man, and will be deeply missed by many. May the Lord wrap His loving arms around Brian's wife and family. I'll be praying for you all.
Taylor Randolph (Enid, OK)
Ode to the Fallen Sportsman Why do we care about sports and why is it a part of the news? Sports is the one part of the news that's not always depressing. Sports give us hope in a newscast we watch to determine the truths in our world. Deceit abounds, truth is clouded, true success and failure are increasingly hard to find. The news is supposed to provide an outlet for discernible truth. Though at times even here it is hard to tell truth from fiction. Wars, destruction, famine, disasters, murders, robberies, accidents, all are sure to grab a headline. It is easy to distinguish human loss as being concrete and accurate. We can confirm these for sure. What do all these things have in common? Each deals with failure and tragedy.
Rebecca B. Stillwater, OK
I am so deeply saddened by the tragic accident that happened on Saturday night. Once I heard the news, even though I didn't know any of the individuals personally, shivers went up and down me. In Stillwater, no matter if you are an OSU college student or not, we all come together as a family here in Stillwater. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families and friends of the victims. My thoughts and prayers are also with OSU as a whole. I also found a verse in the bible that I hope might help ease some of your pain. "The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace." (Psalms 29:11) I also want to say that I think Steve Buzzard, Mr. Phillips, and President Halligan did a terrific and outstanding job doing the newspress on Saturday night. I know it was not an easy thing to do. May God bless each and everyone of you today and always.....
Mike Ray (Houston, Texas)
NATE FLEMING was one of the best people I have ever known in my entire life... I'm only 14 years old, but he was one of my all-time best friends, I grew up with him in Edmond, OK... I remember when he was probably the best tennis player in the South West for his age, and I remember playing him (of course I always lost), and him teaching me how to serve... I heard the news of the crash last night and was walking around downtown when my dad called, I was initially shocked and quickly burst into tears... I still don't understand why such horrible things have to happen to such great people... I live in Houston, but I follow OSU basketball closer than anyone I know of... My family and I have driven up to Stillwater, and out to Austin, to see OSU and also, hoping to see NATE play... Thankfully, we got to see him score the first field goal of his career against Lamar, and I remember the standing ovation that he received until the game ended... I talked to him after the game, but he was late for a party, so it was very short...The last time I ever saw NATE was when my family went to see him play in the loss to Texas, and I am truly thankful that God allowed me to see him that last time... We got to talk to him again after the game, and I remember that he was talking about the rough plane ride he had on the way down to Austin, and how much he hated flying on those small planes, and how he wasn't looking forward to the flight home... The last thing that he said to my was, "Pray for me..." and of course I did... I saw him on jumping up and down on the side of the court on TV against Colorado, and it made me think of what a motivational guy he was to the team... Every time there was a stoppage of play, he was always the first one out onto the court to congratulate his teammates, and slap some high-fives... He truly loved the game of basketball, and I am at least thankful that he died doing the thing that he loved so much... He was an outstanding tennis player, and he could have stuck with that, but he was content to play basketball, and walked-on and made the team... I would like all of you to pray for Drue, Sarah, Ann, and Zane Fleming, and NATE'S roommate, teammate, and good friend Fredrik Jonzen... They are all suffering the loss of one of the most wonderful people that God ever put on this earth...
My prayers go out to all of the families who lost someone yesterday, especially the Flemings... And I know that NATE is a 6'6" All-Star right now with God as his coach, watching down on all of us... Knowing NATE, I know that he would have wanted the team to go on with the rest of the season, and now the guys with, the losses of DAN and NATE, have a reason to go out and win it all this year... They should go out and do it for DAN and NATE... I also was thinking about some of the things that OSU and the Big XII could do to honor the loss of two great people... I think the Big XII should give them player of the Week honors, if not Player of the Year... I also think that it would be really neat to see their jerseys retires, and them inducted into the OSU Sports Hall of Fame... As I'm holding back tears while writing this, a song popped into my head that reminded me of NATE... The song is called "My Hero" and is by the Foo Fighters... The chorus says, "There goes my hero," and NATE! truly was my hero, teaching me to never give up, and always give it my best... Even if some others may not agree, in my eyes, NATE was the best basketball player and person to ever cross the face of this green earth... I loved him so much and never got a chance to tell him... He truly was my role model, and I feel that he will be watching over all of us and helping us get through our ups and downs... I would also like to state the NATE was not the only great loss yesterday, 10 of the finest people in the world died yesterday, and my prayers go out to all of them...I just pray that God will help each and every one of us get through this time of sadness, and be with all of us at all times... Once again, I would like to pray for the Flemings, and all of NATE'S friends and family, for his loss truly saddens me and most everyone I know... All of my friends here have listened to me talk about NATE all the time, about him being a walk-on, about him scoring his first points, and everything else about him, and I even think they were probably getting sick of hearing about him, but everyone here has been so supportive, and they are all praying for the Flemings and all of the other families... I really don't know how I've poured my heart out tonight, seeming as how I'm kind of at a loss for words, but I never thought when I saw NATE that that could be the last time that I saw him... I guess I just took it for granted that I could see him again at the next OSU game that I attended... Another song comes to mind when I think of this horrible tragedy, and that is "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan, she sings, "In the arms of an angel Fly away from here" And she later goes on to say, "You are pulled from the wreckage Of your silent reverie You're in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort there." I just want all of you to know what a great guy NATE was, and what a great loss he is to this world... I also wanted you all to know how much that he meant to me because I don't think that I really ever got the point across about how much I cared about him... I leave you tonight with one thing in mind... REST IN PEACE NATE...My Prayers Out To All, Mike Ray If anyone wishes to talk to me about NATE or this tragic event, please feel free to e-mail me... My e-mail address is MikeRay2000@hotmail.com...

The old Big 8 is very special and the schools in that conference are a very special group. We cheer on rivals against other schools and we get fired up when we challenge each other, but when tragedy strikes a member of the "family", it reaches out across the miles and touches many hearts. We are KSU graduates and we wanted the OSU family to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of deep sorrow. May God be with you.
Eric Montague(University of Kansas)
I know that this is a tough time for all the memebers, students and fans of OSU. When I heard of the crash the effects hit very close to home for me being a member of a Big 12 school. In Memory of those whose lives were cut far too short! Praying that loved ones and friends find comfort from each other and from the wonderful memories of those they loved and lost! Let this also serve as a reminder to those of us left to deal with such a sudden tragedy....life can take a sudden turn...so live life, love life and love one another!!!!!!!!
Will Miller Oklahoma City
Its times like these when we all need to realize a person is a person no matter what color unform he/she puts on. I am an OU fan and have hated OSU. But how can i rationalize hatred away in the name of sports? These 10 lives were more valuable than my own. How silly to judge a person because of his college allegiance! We all as fans need to wake up and see the santity of life and treat one another in love and respect. We do not know when our day is, but we should use our time, not to hate, but to glorify God by loving Him and one another. I am saddened to hear of this tragedy and would like people to know that these peoples' lives have affected many other lives and they did not die in vain. My thoughts and prayers are and will be lifted up to God in Jesus Christ for the families of these men.
James Travis, Los Angeles
I am so very sorry.....My thoughts and prayers are with you ...
JES (Lawrence, KS)
On behalf of all the student athletes at the University of Kansas, we would like everyone at OSU to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. It is very saddening to realize that this very well could have happened to any one of the athletes here, and it truly hits home with us. We all are thinking of you in Lawrence, and send you our deepest sympathies.
No Name
You will all be truly missed!!!!

We grieve with all of our OSU family in the wake of this tradgedy and ask God's Holy Spirit to give comfort to the families, friends and loved ones of those who lost their lives.
John Choate, Stamford, CT
Matriculated at OSU 1985-1986. My wife attended OSU with Don Nickles, and my brother in law attended graduate school in Business, a nephew attended in the 1990s, so we've lots of Cowboys in the family, and followed lots of OSU events. Although I'm many states away, I'll pray to comfort the living and remember the dead. I'm sorry for your loss and grief. So sad. I do believe in the literal resurrection of the body, united with spirit, and the men will come back, sometime. But the loss is real enough now. God bless you.
Dean M. (LaGrange Park, IL)
As a former student, my family's prayers go out to the entire University, the community of Stillwater, and most of all, the friends and families of those lost in this tragedy. If nothing else, please know that there are many of us, both near and far, that are caring for you in this time of need.

My prayers and thoughts are with all the families, fellow teammates, coaches and friends at this time.... Derald Bulls, Paris, Texas
Some 17 years ago I lost a cousin, Brent Roach,a television station cameraman/engineer, in a plane crash while returning from the Dallas/Fort Worth area to his home in Midland/Odessa. I can still see Brent's smile and know that he was happiest when on the job. From the information on the website, it is evident the two players and crew and OSU staff members enjoyed their jobs---some even second generations in the sports industry. I wish God's blessings on all who are touched by this tragedy. The Bible tells us, "We can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us." As you reflect on the good times in each of the ten lives, may a smile come to your face and peace to your heart. We know not the time nor the date when we will be called 'home', but we should live every day as if it were our last. May we all remember to tell those we love how much they mean to us today, and every day. Peace.
Mike Jacobellis Chicago IL
I'm deeply saddened by this event. May God be with you.
Jeremy Fuksa - Oklahoma City, OK
I worked with Kendall Durfey at OSU's Educational Television Services five years ago, and on a few occasions at broadcast events over the years after that. Kendall was a great guy and a good friend. I find it strange that just a day or two before this tragedy I was thinking about how my old friends at ETS were doing and that I should take some time to go to Stillwater to visit them. My thoughts and prayers go out to him, his wife Patti, his brother Nelson, and the family at ETS. His loss will be felt for a very long time.
Johnie OSU-Okmulgee
I was shocked to hear the news about the tradgedy. My thoughts and prayers goes to the family, players, coaches, students, and the community of Stillwater. I know what they are going through. My grandfather past away earlier this year while I was attending OSU-Okmulgee. He met alot to me, he gave the courage to stay in college and he wanted me to go to Stillwater to continue my education. GOD BLESS JOHNIE L. CANTRELL JR. STUDENT SENATOR AND RHA MEMBER

I am deeply hurt by the loss of these fine gentlemen. How I wish they were here to live for years, to share their experiences of life not only with their children but society as a whole. Any flight you take, this is always in the back of your mind, I have played these final minutes in my mind hundreds of times, and it hurts all the same. God Bless the family and OSU, you are a special campus , even though I attended the University Of Georgia, your school has touched my life.....forever..AMEN
Bill Hobbs ,ATC
To the athletic training staff,The profession has lost one of it's own. Those of you that know Brian can help all of us remember him for what he had been to the family at OSU.Hold his memory and his dedication to ALL he touched in your hearts and call on it when you need that little extra.

Jon Mussett (Monterey, CA)
when i first found out about this i got tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat as i'm sure many others did. i wondered why this struck me so deeply and i haven't been able to get it out of my mind all day. i was born and raised in stillwater and graduated from osu in 1999. osu has been a part of my life forever and i consider myself very lucky to have been a part of such a unique situation. the universtiy is like an extended family. if you're wearing orange you're a friend, no matter where you are. that's why this hurts so much. we all just lost 10 friends. although i can't begin to imagine the sorrow of the family members, i do know that our friends will never be forgotten. the strength of the osu family is the key to recovery. celebrate their memories. you are all in my prayers. Jon Mussett
Gregg Carr, Hennepin, IL

Laurence Myers (Bogota, Colombia)
I don't know any of the people directly affected by this tragedy, but I do coach a volleyball team here in war-torn Colombia and hate to image what pain I would go through if anything happened to my own players and staff. I cannot imagine the pain the families and friends of these people must be feeling, but I just want them to know that my own prayers are with them. We never know when our time will come, or why it comes in such ways, but for those left behind the memories will be strong and the love will carry them onward. God bless you all!
Stan White, Tulsa Okla

God Bless all Oklahomans today. Although an '86 OU grad, I still followed OSU from early childhood as my brother was an '79 Poke Grad. It is times like these that we realize that basketball is just a game, and that more important things matter in life. May God look over those lost in last nites tragedy, and may he provide strength and solace to those left behind to deal with the pain and suffering of loved ones. I have thought of nothing else today, and can only imagine what it must be like for those directly affected. It was with a heavy heart that I pray and ask God to Bless those who perished. Bob

Jeff D. Slack (Arlington, TX)
Tragedy affects everyone, but it seems even more personal when it's part of your extended family. As an OSU alumni, I am deeply saddened by this terrible news. My thoughts and prayers are with each of the families and with my OSU family. May you find the same comfort in these words by Kathy Troccolli that I found during the loss of a loved one. Goodbye For Now I can't believe that you're really gone now, seems like it's all just a dream. How can it be that the world will go on, when something has died within me. Leaves will turn, my heart will burn with colors of you - Snow will fall, but I'll recall your warmth - summer wind, breathing in your memory I'll miss you. I can't imagine my life without you, you held a place all your own. Just knowing you were beneath the same sky, oh what a joy I have known. On rainy days, in many ways, you'll water my heart On starry nights I'll glimpse the light of your smile. Never far from my heart, you'll stay with me, so I'll wait.... ..But there will be a time, when I'll see your face And I'll hear your voice and there we will laugh again. And there will come a day, when I'll hold you close, No more tears to cry, 'cause we'll have forever. ....But I'll say goodbye for now.
Richard Young El Campo, Texas
Death is always a very hard event for each of us to handle. It is only with God's grace that we are able to, in some degree of our humanity, accept tragedy as God's will. My thoughts and prayers are for God's peace and comfort to be with each of the survivers of this tragedy.

6Message : May God have mercy on the souls of those who lost their lives in the terrible tragedy on Saturday. Many of us are partisan fans for our state university in good times. But, in bad times such as this we are all family. My immediate family and I offer our sympathies to the families of those whose lives were snuffed out way too early. As a former broadcast engineer and producer for the University of Missouri basketball program my condolences go out to all of the OSU families but to the Durfey family in particular. I know these words are of little comfort, but take them as a sign of our confidence in the familys, the basketball team and the University to continue onward. God be with you.
Bethany Taylor (Overland Park, KS)
My heart goes out to the families, teammates, and friends of the crash victims. May God give them the peace and comfort they need in this time of grieving, and that He will keep them forever in His care; they will never be forgotten. All my love and prayers--Bethany Taylor, 18
ISU Fan (Omaha, Neb.)
I was an Iowa State student in 1985 when the ISU women's cross country team perished in a plane crash returning from the NCAA Championship. There's a feeling of emptiness even when you didn't personally know those who died. Athletic rivalries are completely irrelevant in times like these. Oklahoma State is in our thoughts.
Erin, Stillwater, OK
I have never really been a big sports fan, but I always enjoyed watching our Cowboys play basketball. We have all suffered an unimaginable loss. Though I didn't know any of the victims personally, as a member of the OSU community, my heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to all the family and friends of the victims. God bless.

To the families of the victims of this tragedy my families thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I lived through a tragedy back in 1970 when the Marshall plane carrying the football team, coaches and fans crashed 2 miles from the airport runway. I remember the community and University was devastated but we pulled closer together and to date we remember those 75 people on 11/14 every year. I pray that these men are in a better place and looking down on families and friends saying "We're OK and we will meet again". For the rest of the team remember your fallen team mates and other personnel that they would want you to go on and play as hard as you can for their sake and the pride of OSU. Coach Sutton Good Luck in the remainder of the year and in the NCAA Tournament. GOD BLESS

Our nephew,Pat Noyes, was one of those people that knew how to get the best from life. He loved OSU,couldn't get enough of basketball and treasured his relationship with Coach Sutton. He'll be remembered as a fiesty guy filled with the spirit of youth. Our prayers go out to his family and to all families whose lives have been affected by this tragedy.
Rick White, Oklahoma City
I am still having trouble believing that something this horrible can happen to such good and fine people. I only knew Bill Teagins briefly, but can attest that there is no finer man that has walked this earth. He was always genuine and honest, and truly cared for people. As for the players, I will never forget the chants on NATE, NATE, NATE, and the smile on his face. Watching Daniel play his heart out when he got in the game, and his positive attitude. They and all the rest we be sorely missed, and the Oklahoma State family must pull together to help in anyway we can. I will always remember these fine people, and hope that God has them in his embrace. My heart, hopes, and prayers go out to all the families, and hope that they can make through this as best as possible. We in Oklahoma know tradgedy first hand, and we are a strong family. No matter if you wear different colors, we are all brothers and sisters in Gods eyes.

wow.. It is hitting the nation. Hitting the hearts of college basketball teams. I dont understand. God does. Because there just might have been a shortage of angels in heaven. let us not move on in our lives..without these mens lives implanted in our hearts.

Joe Winchester Pistol Pete 2000-01
Every time Daniel Lawson hit the floor I was waiting for something great to happen. I knew he was one of the great players that would develop at OSU. I remember every time that Nate Fleming was put into the game the crowd would roar. Everyone loved the fact that this individual was always on his feet and always into the game. Fans wanted him to succeed. These two individuals now start for Gods team and although they will be missed in GIA, they are well recieved as part of God's Allstars. I will keep them and everyone involved with the crash in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Joe Winchester Pistol Pete

With heavy hearts, we would like to express our sincere sympathy to the families, teammates, coaches and all those who are affected by this tragedy. It is very hard for us to imagine the feelings that some of the family members are experiencing as we have never lost a loved one in such an abrupt manner. We have lost loved ones and understand the difficulties you will face in the future. Please remember that time will heal. During the tough times, try to think of all the good times and all of the reasons of why that person was so special to you. Hopefully that will make you smile and realize that they will always be with you in your heart. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

I wrote earlier sending my prayers out to the families of the recently deceased, mainly the Flemings. I just found out that the co-pilot, Bjorn, was another friend of mine. I hung out with this guy on a couple occasions and he was always smiling, no matter what the situatioin, B would be smiling. When i first heard his name released I thought it was another Bjorn, buit come to find out, it wasn't. I am praying for his family and all the families of this trajic accident. Words could never do justice to this tragedy or the lives that were lost. Knowing those guys from the days when I was part of the basketball family at OSU, it brings me great sadness. Times like these should show us all that we are not in control. We should cherish each day and trust God with the rest. God Bless all of those who are a part of the wonderful family known as Oklahoma State University.
All my prayers,

I am currently in Washington DC on business, and just heard about the tragedy on CNN. I have been crying all morning and am so terribly saddened by the tremendous loss for the families, friends, and O State family members of these outstanding men. From here in the Palmetto State, our hearts are very heavy with your institution's and the various families' incredibly painful loss. Best wishes to all of you as you try to make sense of this tragedy and move forward. As a graduate of Florida State, I can tell you that OSU holds a very strong connection to our school. We debuted the Seminole mascot and horse, Chief Osceola and Renegade, in a home game with the Cowboys in 1978. As the eventual home of so many Cherokees and Seminoles, I have always felt that the south Georgia/north Florida area will always be linked to your state. May God bless you and yours.

Having worked through the Bonfire collapse here at Texas A&M, we understand all too well how difficult a tragedy such as this can be on the families, the students, the campus & community. The healing process is difficult and long, but the "Cowboy Spirit" is forever strong and will unite the OSU community in miraculous ways during this tragedy! Lean on one another while we Cowboys around the world continue pray for your comfort, peace and hope.
Cassie Firth, South Grafton, MA
I was shocked when I saw a News 9 reporter on ESPN this morning in front of the OSU library. Being in Massachusetts, we don't hear much about OSU anymore. I went directly to the internet to find out what was going on. I played intramural sports with Pat at OSU and he was a great person. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families. Jared Weiberg was much more than a student manager for the OSU basketball team. He was also a fine student, working toward a master's degree at OSU. I met Jared when he took a graduate course on the history of higher education, which I taught last semester. He was a very unassuming person, but his comments during class discussion always showed good insight, and his essay exams showed a strong grasp of issues and complexities that complicate the job of balancing competing elements of higher education. Jared wanted to coach college basketball. He would have made a fine coach and an outstanding role model for other young people. This fine man's death is a great loss.--sw

As an OSU graduate and a sports fan in general, I am so terribly sad to hear of yesterday's tragedy. I was blessed to know Bill Teegins from his Tulsa days and he always had a smile or a laugh for everyone. Will Hancock must have been a terrific person also. My family was fortunate to know his wife Karen through soccer recruiting and they seemed so happy. Our family's thoughts and prayers are extended to the Teegins, Hancocks and the rest of the "Cowboy Family". What a tradedy! George Moore Class of '76

I have been an osu fan ever since i was born. Bill Teegans has allways been the voice of the Cowboys. Whether it was a touchdown cowboys! Or a he shoots scores and hes falled, he was the best broadcaster in the country. Nate Flemming tried so hard, and when he got in it was very fun to watch him. And Dan Lawson rebounded very well, which won us the game vs. Iowa State. They all will be missed greatly.
Taji Oliver and Claudette Oliver, Indianapolis, Indiana

Remembering Pat Noyes and Bill Teegins Pat, What can I say bud, I am going to miss you. I will always remember the times that we played basketball together, played cards at your house and when you let me stay in your room at the final four and sweet sixteen. I hope that I will see you around again someday. God Bless! Bill, I didn't know you real well, however I will always remember you and Tom Dirato. You both were and are true professionals. During the 0-10-1 year and the two years following you and Tom treated us kickers like anyone else on the team. We really appreciated your professionalism and your down home attitude. Basically, you approached your job how everyone should, treating everyone with respect regardless of their status. I will also never forget how you put your emotions on the air. The slogan, "He GOT it" will live on in my mind every time OSU hits a three-point basket or a clutch shot. God Bless! Shannon Thompson Shannon41

Rod Blevins, Austin, TX
This is certainly the worst moment for the OKlahoma State University family that I can recall. Nothing seems remotely close. I would like to share memories of two of the individuals killed yesterday. First, there's Daniel Lawson, who in the game here in Austin a few weeks ago, was forced to play point guard after both Marice Baker and Victor Williams had fouled out. Though he was clearly uncomfortable in that role, he stepped up when asked to do so. In those moments, he became one of my favorite players. Second, is Bill Teegins. I had watched him on television while attending OSU and while I though he was good in that role, I didn't like the idea of him becoming the voice of the Cowboys. I had only known the excitable Bill Berry in that role and unfairly thought that Bill wasn't up to the task. It took several years for my opinion to change but change it did. He proved himself a knowledgeable, capable and genuinely good broadcaster. It is certainly a tragedy that we not only lost these two great Cowboys but six others as well as the two pilots.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pete Surette, Denver, CO
As a former athelete at Oklahoma State, you feel connected to everyone associated with the university. I cheer for these ball players wanting them to win as badly as I did when I played. I remember the special relationship only atheletes and trainers can have. I think of the excitement I felt as young man when I saw Bill and his crew. I will always hear his excitement for the Cowboys in my head. I think back on the advise given to me by our team's director, and will always appreciate his willingness to give his time to me. My prayers are with every family touched by this tragedy. May you always cherish your memories. I am truly sorry.

My deepest condolenses go out to the entire OSU basketball family. It is during tragedies like this that we sometimes start to question our faith and wonder why this would happen to someone like us.I just try to remember that God doesn't make mistakes and everything happens for a reason. The reason is not known at this time, but it will be revealed in time. Not when we want the answer, but when God is ready to reveal it to us. Again my deepest sympathy and I will remember the entire OSU family in my prayers.

Unfortunately, I never crossed paths with those who were on the plane, but for many strangers to now hear about them will allow their hearts, attitudes, determination, and inspiration to live on. My heart sank when I found out what happen from my older sister, Kristin. I continually pray for OSU campus and basketball team for them to know, just how fragile life really is and that it CAN be taken in a second. I hope that this will bring "our" team closer together in unity, and life. My heart goes out to every single player and person who was aboard that plane. I stayed up all night until I found out who was on... I'm a die hard OSU fan, and IF it was humanly possible, I'd take every life that was on that plane, and put myself to be the only one that died. I knew Jarod Weiberg, he was my coach at OC this summer. God bless you all. Keep your hearts set on one person... Jesus Christ!!!! :)

My thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends of those lost in the crash as well as the athletic staff and student-athletes at OSU. For people who are not associated with college athletics, working with student-athletes is an extremely rewarding experience. Student-athletes are special people who dedicate their lives to achieve their goals and dreams and make many sacrifices along the way. In addition, the athletic staff who work with student-athletes spend countless hours of their time to help these young people mature, develop, and become the overall person they will need to be to succeed in society. Not only is it a sad day for Oklahoma State

I want to pray for all those involved that the parents would recover. I want the parents, relatives, close friends, and those who had just seen them or met them, that they will know that if either were a true believer in Christ they are in heaven. Don't cry or weep any more because heaven is the best place to be; no crying, no tears, no death. Streets of gold, manchions to call all there own. Being able to talk to God himself, everything you could possibly imagine: in heaven, and you will be there forever. Just so you know, I'm 13 years old. I plan on going to OSU for college. I went to one of the OSU basketball games at Gallagher-Iba, and got to high-five both players that died. When I first woke up this morning (1-12-2001) and heard about what happened I wanted to burst out crying but have some how held it in. I'm sorry for all the losses you have all experienced. For those of you who haven't been saved and would like to be because of what happened, if you'd like you can e-mail me at shortstopfreak@aol.com I will continue praying for those in the crash and the parents, relatives, close friends, the coaching staff and fellow players.

In the best and the worst of for the teams, OSU fans could point to Bill and Tom and say with pride "the best there is" God bless all the victims and their families. May the families know in thier hearts that the whole OSU family, from the youngest fan to the oldest alum is praying and supporting them.

Wes Brasell, Houston, Texas
As a former Univ of Alabama Basketball Manager ('90 - '95) and a close friend of Doug Gottlieb and his family, I have come to adopt the OSU Basketball Program in the past three years. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to all the loved ones of the plane crash and to everyone at Oklahoma State Universiy. I am grieving with you all as thise news hit me hard because I personally had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Pat Noyles, Nate Fleming, and Jared Weiberg through Doug. They and all the others will surely be missed. May God be with them all and the others from this tragic plane crash. Pat Noyles was a great person who I had the great pleasure of knowing over the past three years sharing our experiences and memories as managers with our respective programs. OSU is a great program of tradition and family, and I am sure you will stick together as a family and grow stronger as a team. I am with all of you. God Bless Oklahoma State University.

We were just devastated when we heard the news. This is a tremendous loss for the entire world of college sports. Our prayers go out to the families of those lost and the entire OSU family.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Soonerinkc, Mission Ks
My prayers and thoughts go out to all. I have said many times that the sports we play are just games and that in the greater scheme of it all it really is such a minute piece of our lives.. This really does show that that is the truth. Again my prayers and thoughts go to the families, team and university. Go Pokes/Boomer Sooner

Brian Coppinger, Lone Tree, Iowa
As a graduate of Iowa State University I follow Big 12 athletics. I am sure I speak for all Cyclone fans in saying that our hearts and prayers are with the families and friends of those that lost their lives so tragically. The saying goes that "Everything has a purpose" but right now it is hard to accept that when so many lives were taken from one University family.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Norm Collins, San Antonio, TX
I find myself crying as I type these words. While I knew none of you personally, our only connection is the OSU family. That connection alone is enough to cause grief at the deepest levels in my soul. God bless you and the OSU Family.

Rick Tuel, Bentonville, Arkansas
I worked with Bill as a photographer and producer from 1982 through 1988 at both KOTV-6 in Tulsa and KWTV-9 in Oklahoma City. I will remember his as a "playful professional". He always knew how to have fun and still maintain his dignity. He told me once that when he was a kid, his goal was to be the sportscaster at Channel 6. He would toss a baseball to his pitchback and call play-by-play in his back yard. He reached that goal early in his career and then exceeded it. I will miss him greatly.

Our prayers are with the families of those so tragically lost and with the entire OSU family who share in this most difficult loss. May the love of Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit carry you through this time.

I would like to express to you that my thoughts and prayers are with you. As a recent graduate of Baylor, I was in attendance at the Baylor and OSU game in Waco last week. This is such a tragedy but there will be sushine after the rain and God is always present. Please learn from this tragic accident that life is short and that without God nothing is possible. So today make the most of and your relationships with others because we never know when our lives may be cut short. God Bless these students, families, and Oklahoma State University.

MY PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL THE FAMILIES THAT LOST A LOVED ONE LAST NIGHT. I DIDNT KNOW ANY OF THESE GENTLEMEN PERSONALLY, BUT I HAVE FELT LOSS IN MY LIFE AND I KNOW HOW HARD IT MUST BE.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Transplanted Okie, Houston, TX
As it happens, I fell asleep last night not knowing the details of this tragedy. I had only heard that an OSU plane had gone down. Also as it happens, my last thoughts and words written online were concerning the JeffCo airport, in a completely different context. I believe that was a prayer to/from Heaven for the souls of those on the plane. How could I have known that someone I barely knew, but had had the pleasure to meet and work with briefly in both Tulsa and OKC, Bill Teegins, was aboard the plane. The Lord works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. Though I went to OU and am a Sooner fan, it doesn't matter. My heart goes out to all my OSU friends and colleagues and to the families of the victims. My family, too, has coped with close losses in the Texas A&M bonfire tragedy. If you are in pain right now, embrace it and let it flow through you. Your life will be better for it, I promise. God bless you all.

Brad Wagnon, Tahlequah, OK
As an OSU fan and a fellow human being I would like to send my thoughts and prayers to the families, friends, teamates, and coaches of those lost in the terrible tradgedy of last night. I knew none personally, but there were tears in my eyes before I even knew names. I have had some of the most exciting moments of my life watching OSU basketball and football. Just a few weeks back I went to the new arena and watched an exciting overtime win over Iowa State in which Dan Lawson played phenonmenally. These lives will be missed not only on the court, the bench, the television and radio, but also in those lives which they touched so deeply. I pray comfort and peace for those left behind in the wake of such a great loss.

I pray for the families and friends that have lost loved ones. Sadly to say I understand how families feel right now. Here in Aggieland we had a situation like this with our Bonfire 2 years ago, an accident happens and we all lose loved ones. I hope and pray for all mourning the loss of these good men. God bless the families and friends in there time of need.

Richard Dicks, Houston, Texas
I have been an OSU basketball fan all of my life, beginning with my Dad taking me to watch Coach Iba and players like Eddie Sutton, Moe Iba and Jerry Adair. Living down here in Houston, sometimes we forget how much the school and the teams meant to us. You were just never to busy to miss a game or a match in Gallagher Hall. While I am not as familiar with these Cowboys as I was the ones of my time at OSU, the feeling of loss is no less real. Our prayers are with their friends and families as well as with their coworkers and teammates. May God bless them and the whole OSU family.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our thoughts and prayers do indeed go out to the families and friends of the victims. Tragedies such as this affect not only the sports world in Oklahoma, but also greatly saddens everyone who view college athletics and the scholar athlete as our countrys greatest sports participants. This is indeed a sad day throughout our country.

Happy Settle, Austin, Texas
I am sick thinking about the families and what they are going through at this time of crisis. There is nothing easy to say to them except I feel your grief and want them to know my continual thoughts and prayers are with them.
Gary Henry, Yukon, Oklahoma
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
"For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Apostle Paul
Romans 8:28-39
May God Bless those we have lost, and may his hand of comfort and blessings be upon the families and friends left behind.

Larry Rutherford, Irving, Texas
My brother Randy Rutherford played ball at OSU so this hits home for me. I just want to say to the families: what makes you who you are is not of the flesh, it is your spirit. So the love that they all had for you is an honest emotion of the human spirit and that is eternal. I WILL MOURN AND PRAY FOR YOU ALL.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beth, Norman, Oklahoma
All too often, we Sooners and Cowboys focus on the differences between the two, but now it is time for us to pull together in love and support of one another. This is a time that makes me appreciate all that is truly important. My heart is broken for the families and friends of those involved in this tragedy. All of you are in my prayers.

Kevin Gum, Stillwater, Oklahoma
My family is deeply saddened by the losses that have devistated the Oklahoma State Family. I personally knew most of those aboard the fatal crash. Each were unique to OSU in so many ways and these losses are huge to not only OSU, but to our state and nation. The Lord works in mysterious ways and while I have struggled to deal with the losses of these great friends, I know that our community will help each other through this trying time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Laura, Edmond, Oklahoma
To all of the families and friends of the victims, you are all in my prayers.
The biggest affect to me was the loss of an amazing guy, Nate Fleming.
To the Flemings and friends, no one will ever be able to replace Nate, but you all by far are the luckiest of them all to have been able to watch a little boy grow into a talented, amazing young man. Thank you for letting him be a boy, a basketball player, and a friend. I am truly blessed to have known such an amazing friend.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lakeisha Bryant, Brandon, Mississippi
To the Oklahoma State family and friends. I just want you to know that God makes no mistakes. We do not know why this accident had to happen so suddenly, but we can say that better days are to come. I pray that you will look to God for strength and understand that all those taken away are in a much better place. My prayers are with you and I know that God is going to bring you through this. God bless and peace be thine!!!

Kyle Donaghey
My name is Kyle Donaghey, and I am in the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band. Last night we had our annual banquet, and when I returned home to gather with some friends for the evening, we discovered the news of this terrible tradegy. Many tears were shed amoung us all as we grieved the loss of players and staff from OSU. This is not an OSU tradegy but an Oklahoma tradgy. Know that all of our love, concern, and prayers go out to the Oklahoma State basketball team and coaches, athletic department, administration, and students of OSU. God bless you all.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike Ricke, Basketball Athletic Trainer, Texas A&M University
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family members, Athletic Dept. Staff, Faculty and students at Oklahoma State University. Brian Luinstra, Will Hancock and Pat Noyes were all friends of mine. They were super people to be around. They always treated me and Texas A&M first class. My thoughts and prayers also go out to Coach Sutton and the men's basketball team. May God bless you all during this tough time.

Don Haddix, Riverside, California
I am so glad to see this web page available to all of us who want to send our most sincere prayers and words of encouragement out to all of you at OSU. I have been to Stillwater many times and enjoyed meeting the people and clearly could see the pride they had in their university. I do not live in the Cornhusker state anymore but I know their are many many sad Nebraskans tonight who are thinking of and remembering those who gave so much to their university and state, their associates, friends, and most of their families and loved ones. All Big 12 basketball schools should dedicate this year in unison to the memory of those who perished in the crash. God Bless you all.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brandon Allshouse, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I would like to offer my condolences and prayers to the entire OSU family and the families of all of the victims. It's sad to see something like this happen, especially with young men like the two basketball players who had the rest of thier lives ahead of them. This tragedy hit me hard because I have two very close friends that attend OSU and another who graduated from OSU in the mid-1990s. Since moving to Oklahoma from Wyoming in January of 1991, I have come to support OSU and its athletic program even though I still support Wyoming athletics as well. I sincerely hope that the OSU community can rebound from this terrible tragedy and become a much stronger family from it.
My thoughts and prayers go to all of OSU and to the families of the victims.

HEAVEN IS MY HOME.
Special heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families who have lost loved ones in the terrible airplane tragedy that has struck you and Oklahoma State University and the entire state of Oklahoma and other parts of this country.
I pray that you all have some Christian background which will help you get through this very sorrowful time. However, if you are aware of the Great Eternal Resting Place where your loved ones are now at Peace my hope is that you are aware of the Prayer that is in many Christian hymn-books which tell us that Earth is a Desert Drear and that Heaven is our Home which Our Savior gave his life on the cross for us to have a home far better than what we have on earth when our earthly life comes to a close.
God bless you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the loved ones lost.
"Risk To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out is to risk involvement.
To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure.
But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or love.
Chained by fear, he is a slave. He has forfeited his freedom.
Only a Person who takes risks is free!" (author unknown)
From the Brotherhood of Kappa Kappa Psi and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia University of Oklahoma, we extend our blessings to our fallen brothers in Christ.

Ronn & Beth Cupp
My wife,Beth, and I join all OSU fans and alums in expressing our grief over this great tragedy. Our prayers go out to the families and friends of those whose lives were cut short. Denver Mills was our friend. Our sons played baseball together at P.C. North, and our daughters played fastpitch softball for the Panthers. Our son was a student athletic trainer at OSU this fall, and introduced us to Brian Luinstra during Homecoming. Dustin thought a lot of Brian. We are saddened at their deaths and the deaths of all those on board that aircraft. I want to share a portion of a hymn we sang this morning in church: "I will weep when you are weeping, When you laugh, I'll laugh with you. I will share your joy and sorrow, Till we've seen this journey through . . ." Tonight, all of Oklahoma shares sorrow with the OSU family. God bless you all.

Lanny Hayes (College Station, Tx)
I would like to take this opportunity to offer my heartfelt prayers and well-wishes to the entire Oklahoma State community and the families of those killed. As a victim of the 1999 Texas A&M Bonfire collapse, I felt a great many prayers and received many letters and e-mails from Stillwater and Oklahoma State University, all of which helped me make it through the toughest times and stand tall again. It is my prayer that your grief, however great, unites your school in their memory and bonds the OSU Cowboy family like never before.
I have a cousin who attends OSU and speaks often of the great people, times, and community there. The pride and brotherhood you exhibit as a school is a great credit to you and your alumni. Although I know your pain and suffering will not end soon, I hope that you remember the great times that your perished friends, family, and classmates brought you, and always remember them as the great people that they are.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jennifer, Clarksville, Pennsylvania
The words I leave with you, the friends and families, will not bring the wonderful men, who passed away too soon, back to you, but in your grief I hope they bring some little bit of comfort. They have met the Lord and we will all be united again one day. It is a better place than this world that we live in, a place without the hardship and worries of everyday life. Live the lives you have for them now. Honor and love your memories and keep them close to your heart as all the world will now do too. The tragedy experienced here has moved me to tears all day and what little comfort I might bring to a family in mourning I will. Please accept these words of sympathy as love for mankind. We, the world mourns with you. As one to have been associated with California University of PA and Seton Hill Colleges, I have been very close to members of these small communities within small towns. May God Bless the families and friends, and bring this college community together in love and comfort. Rest in Peace and in life, well done thy good and faithful servents.

Kara Schubert, Stillwater, Oklahoma
Heavenly Father, we do not always, or hardly ever, understand how You work in our lives. I know there has always been a debate about whether You cause all things, or You allow all things to happen, but whatever the answer to that question is, I know You work all things for Your good and Your glory. In the darkest tragedy, Your light is still there, and no amount of darkness can ever completely cover light. Father, I pray that no one will question You throughout this, but that they would instead seek You for comfort. For those of us still living, I pray that we would think about our own mortality and wonder what if it were me on that plane, am I sure I would be allowed to dwell with You in heaven forever? If people aren't certain Father, I pray that You would put people in their lives who can answer their questions and draw them to the answer- Your Son came and died for us, and accepting Him as our Savior guarantees our place in Heaven. Surround this campus and strengthen us so that we will be able to see how You can use even this for good. We love you Father, amen.

Matthew Skaggs, Stillwater, Oklahoma
I am deeply saddened by this terrible loss. Not only am I a student here at OSU but, I have been a bleeding orange and black fan since the day I was born. My heart hangs heavy as I sit here and stare at the basketball poster that hangs on my wall. It shows the faces of two great players that will truly be missed. I think we should retire the jerseys of our fallen cowboys. Even though I only knew Dan briefly, and have had only one conversation with Bill, they will all be missed. Here at OSU, we are all a family, and we all are affected by such a tragedy. Bill, we will miss your great ability to get the fans into the game. Never did I watch a game on tv without having the radio on, just to hear your enthusiasm and love of the game. "HE SHOOTS, HE SCORES, HE'S FOULED!" will never be forgotten by anyone here. We love you all and will miss your bright smiles, and will be reunited with you when its time. Hope to see your smiles waiting for all of us at the pearly gates. My prayers are with all of the families, and everyone associated with OSU. May God Bless You All.

Jeffrey Nesheim, Denver, Colorado
I had a ticket to yesterday's game in Boulder, but was unable to attend. I came home to several messages on my answering machine asking me if I had heard about the crash. I sat glued to the television until early this morning. Absolute disbelief of what happened is all I clould say. As a former Stillwater resident and Oklahoma State alumnus I reflected back on the many basketball games I have attended in Gallagher Hall/Gallagher Iba arena. Eddie Hannons half-court shot against Louiville in 1981/82??, beating the Sooners when they were number 1 in 1988-89, Big Country against Missouri in the 1990's. I would trade them all for the ability to turn time back and ask the Lord for our ten friends back.
I grew up with Bob Berry, Bill Platt, Rex Holt, and Tom Dirato as the voices of OSU sports. I became a great fan of Bill Teegins and listened to OSU games on the interenet. Heaven has the best play-by-play man in their booth now.
"May the lord rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face the rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may the God that loves us all, hold you in the palm of your hand."

Cortney, OU Student, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Nate Fleming and I played tennis together for 7 years. Even though we never went to the same school, we will always have a special bond through the memories we made at all the tournaments we went to. Nate was the type of guy that everyone admired. He was by far one of the best athletes on the tennis court, yet he never acted like he was superior. He always had a smile on his face and the committment of a true winner in his heart. Even though we both gave up the game of tennis once college came, Nate was still one of my favorite guys. The loss of this amazing human will touch the lives of many, many people. Every person that met Nate immediately liked him and felt comfortable around him. God has truly gained an incredible spirit in heaven.

I pray that the families and friends of all the victims of this crash will turn to God for comfort and support. He is the only one that can make sense of it. May God give them beauty for ashes, strength for tears, gladness for mourning, and peace for despair.
In The Name of Jesus Christ,
Amen
Lutrice, Detroit, Michigan
My prayers go out to all the families of the victims, especially Phyllis and Daniel Sr. I am at such a loss for words. I just found out on the news and I just stared at his picture on the screen. I...I really am at a loss. I just want to let you all know that you're in my prayers. Rest in peace, Daniel. I'll truly miss you.
Vicki Taylor Roberts, Springfield, Ohio
My heart and deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of these fine men who have been taken from them in the prime of life. I & my two sons lost a husband and father in a motorcycle accident 23 years ago and I have great understanding of that terrible call they received following the crash. Our prayers are with you.

It is times like this that Red & Orange comes together in unity and prayer for the love and guidance of God's touch. This is certainly a sad day in Stillwater and for all Oklahomans. I will remember to pray for the students, staff and families of the OSU crash victims involved in this tragedy. OSU, you are in everyone's thoughts.
Steve Reynolds, Crestline, California
My thoughts are with each and every member of the OSU basketball family. I too have just lost a family member, so I know the pain. Although I am an avid OU fan, I keep up with the OSU teams. This will be a sad day in the OSU history books. But, this too shall pass. God grant each and every member the peace of knowing that they are with the Lord.
Tenisha Kullum, Columbus, Ohio
I'm a student at Wilberforce University, I am also a fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys.I know this is a hard time for the Cowboys, but my prayers go out to the families, students, and teammates. Earth has no sorrows that Heaven cannot heal. Be strong and give all your troubles to God. He's going to be up all night anyway.
Orlando Fernandez, Miami, Florida
My deepest sympathy and sincerest prayers go out to all of the family members, friends, colleagues, and all who are associated with OSU. Many of us in South Fla., and I'm sure also around the country, share in your grief. I wish there was more that could be said or done to understand why absolutely horrific tragedies like these occur. May God bless you all and keep you close to Him.
Brian McLaughlin, Olive Branch, Mississippi
I would like to offer my sincere and deepest condolences to the family and friends of each person in last weekend's plane crash. I had the pleasure of meeting several Oklahoma State fans two years ago in Starkville, at the Mississippi State-Oklahoma State football game, and just want say they were wonderful fans, and people. My prayers are with you.
Lt. Nathan Pyle, Oklahoma City Police Department
My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the families and friends of the staff and players that were suddenly taken from us Saturday evening. I learned of the tragedy as I stepped off my own flight at Will Rogers World Airport. I will never forget the feeling I had as I learned of the crash and it's tragic results. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire OSU family.
Paul D. Weatherford, Fountain Hills, Arizona
Mr. Weiberg attended our Big XII Picnic and I was very impressed with the personality of this fine young man. I had hoped to meet him again. I know it will be hard to replace a person of his quality of character. My heart and prayer reaches out to the loved ones of eachof these men and the pilots. The country has lost a valuable resource as well as Oklahoma State University.
Scott Pennock, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I know this time is hard on all the families and friends, but just stick together and you will make it threw this tragedy. I've been an Oklahoma State fan all of my life. When I heard what happened it made me break a few tears. I know that God will be with all of you at Oklahoma State University. All my prayers are with you all.
Charlie, OSU Sr.
If the good die young, then the youngest just died. Oklahomans have been struggling with disaster for quite some time now. From bombs to tornadoes and planes, we always hold God's hand and let Him guide us through to tell the details of it again. We can only thank Him for taking the best people to see Him and be rewarded for their goodness. We will all be together soon enough.
Congratulations guys! I will see you soon enough.
Patrick and Beth, San Diego, California
We are from the state of Oklahoma and this hits home.
Our thoughts and our prayers go out to the families and to Oklahoma State University. We know that although the many prayers and cards are well meant, nothing could possibly ease the pain you are going through.
Please know that although we are not there with you physically, many Oklahomans across the country are holding your hands and giving you our strength.
God Bless.
Jennifer Mitchell, Stillwater, Oklahoma
I thank God for the people that told the members and staff and media of the OSU basketball club about Jesus and for the opportunity of salvation. They are now all rejoicing in heavan. There are no tears there, and the best thing that we can do for them now is come to know Jesus ourselves so that we can meet them there and spend eternity together. We should be happy that all of our friends and loved ones are in a better place now. God loves us all.
Trish Lawler, Ponca City, Oklahoma
We are empty without you here.
Our grief is great.
Our sorrow sinks us deeper into despair.
We need to remember your love for us,
Your smiles, your laughter, your tears.
As we shed our own tears for you,
As we wonder why?
Gather around us, as we gather together.
Send your warmth to soothe our hearts.
We will see you again.
Our faith holds that promise for us.
In our victories, we will think of you.
As we look upward,
Your applause we will hear.
April Heidler
I just want to let you know that I am thinking of all of out fellow Oklahomans that are having to go through this terrible time right now and that they are in my and my family's prayers. Just remember God is always there for you. You can always lean on your fellow Oklahomans when in a crisis we have some of the most compassionate people in the world in our state. I think that we have shown this to be true time and time again, during the many tragedies that have faced our blessed state. God be with you.

As an Alumni of OSU, I felt very deeply sad to all the victims of the airplaine crash in Colorado. May God received their souls into Heaven and may their souls rest in peace beside You God!.
For Mr. Teegins, while I was in Oklahoma from 1991 - 1997, I really did love your show. At 10:00pm, I always watched KWTV for your show. I felt sorry for Mr. Teegis' family and for KWTV's staff, for the lost of the BEST DAD and SPORTSCASTER IN THE WORLD.
Jordan, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I have been a good friend with the co-pilot Bjorn Falstrom for 3 years now. He was a great person and everyone who knew him never had a bad thing to say. I am grateful I was able to spend all day Friday with him before he left for Colorado. I will never forget the good times we had. Being a pilot myself, Bjorn and I had the chance to do some flying together. He was a great pilot and always put safety first. I will miss you Bjorn and I know you are in a better place. You will be missed by your friends and family, but I know you left this place doing something you loved to do.
Frank Mercogliano, Sports Information Director, Idaho State University
On behalf of those associated with the Idaho State University athletic program, we pray for the victims of this terrible tragedy, and we grieve with the family members, the Oklahoma State athletic staff, and the community of Stillwater.
As an SID, I especially pray for Will Hancock's wife and newborn child. SID's always have to go on trips, and be gone for hours at night, and days at a time. You always expect them to come home. I'm so sorry for you that Will won't be. Always know that a part of Will lives inside Andie.
Brian, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
As a former student, former employee of the OSU athletic department, and life long fan of Oklahoma State University, my heart and prayers go out to the families of those involved in this untimely accident. All that were lost were apart of the Oklahoma State family and therefore are a part of mine. They will not be forgotten. The voice of Bill Teegins will be greatly missed as he was the voice of so many memories over the years. Even though I do not understand why these people were taken from us, I will trust that God has his hands on them and their families in this great time of greiving and loss.
Diana Romero, Topeka, Kansas
I just want to extend my deepest condolescences to the Oklahoma State Athletic Department. Also to each and every Oklahoma State University student. My thoughts and prayers are with you this week. I also want to extend those condolescences to all the families who lost a loved one. This is such a tremendous loss. Nate Fleming and Dan Lawson were two very talented basketball players at OSU. They will be greatly missed on the basketball court. All of these people will never be forgotten they will always remain in our hearts and in our thoughts and in our prayers. Once again I am very sorry for your loss.
Seth Schroeder, Stillwater, Oklahoma
When you bleed orange like so many of us OSU fan do, a tragic loss like this is like a loss to your own family...and so it is just that, a loss to our family. My thought and prayers go out to all that have suffered through this time of greif and loss. May God spread his arm open and cover you all with his everlasting love so that it might ease the pain of your loss. As for Bill Teegins, he's been the voice of the Cowboys for as long as I can remember, it just won't be the same without him, and he will be impossible to replace.
Watch down over us as we greive for you now guys...your COWBOYS need you now more than ever!
Lindsay LaBass, Tulsa, Oklahoma
The families of these wonderful people are constantly in my prayers, & I pray that God will bless you all with comfort & peace through this tragic time. OSU is dear to my heart, & I am devastated by this news, even though I did not know the victims personally. I do know Bill Teegins' voice, & when I listen & watch OSU football & basketball now, it won't be the same. He had such enthusiasm in his voice & I don't think anyone else could be so excited for OSU athletics. God bless Coach Sutton & the rest of the team, you all are in my prayers each day. Thank you for being part of my memories at OSU!
Jason Howard, Stillwater, Oklahoma
God allows things to happen for a reason, some of those things we don't understand, all those who were lost in the tragic plane accident are now in the hands of the Good Lord!! My prayers go out to all of the families that were victimized, I share their grief. This is a time in which all of us as student athletes, students, faculty, and the entire OSU family have to pray and lift one another up, to help us get through this difficult chapter in our life. Keep the faith and know that our lost (10) family members are now in a greater and better place!! ONCE A POKE ALWAYS A POKE! and they will be greatly missed!!
Mary Williams, Seymour, Indiana

Justin Kana, Stroud, Oklahoma
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of all ten men aboard the fallen plane. My heart especially goes out to a mentor in Bill Teegins. I worked with Bill for a year while attending OSU. He was a great person to be around and taught me a lot. I will especially remember the great talks we had on Monday nights about OSU when it was just Bill and I in the sports room. He was a "Cowboy" through and through. I don't know how I will listen to Cowboy football and basketball games without knowing I'm going to hear his famous lines of "He got it!" and "Oh, brother" when something went array. My heart and soul are heavy on this sad day for Oklahoma and especially OSU.
