2023-24: Posted a 10-6 record as a key reserve at 197 pounds … Appeared in four duals and faced three top-10 opponents those matches … Runner-up at the Southern Scuffle, where he faced second-ranked Stephen Buchanan of Oklahoma in the finals and was OSU’s highest placer … Defeated Stanford’s No. 15 Nick Stemmet in the Southern Scuffle semifinals, his only ranked win of the season and third of his career … Claimed three matches to win the 918 Open.
2022-23: Went 10-4 on the season, mainly competing in open tournaments … Made his dual debut at heavyweight against Iowa State four weeks after wrestling at 184 pounds in the Southern Scuffle … Took first place at the Viking Open, sixth at the Lindenwood Open and seventh at the Scuffle … Notched eight wins by fall with seven of them coming in the first period … Collected his first ranked win against No. 31 Matthew Waddell of Chattanooga, 9-4, at the Scuffle.
