LUBBOCK, Texas – Oklahoma State saw its unbeaten streak snapped in Thursday night's Big 12 Conference opener as No. 20 Texas Tech handed the 18^th-ranked Cowgirls a 1-0 loss at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

OSU, which was undefeated in its first nine games of the season, fell to 7-1-2 with the loss, while the Red Raiders improved to 9-1-0.

TTU scored the lone goal in the 64^th minute in a match that saw the Cowgirls outshoot the home team, 12-10, and claim a 3-2 edge on corner kicks.

Neither team produced many scoring chances in the opening half, but OSU outshot the Red Raiders by a 6-3 margin, with three of those attempts on goal, and recorded three corner kicks.

Three of OSU's shots in the first 45 minutes nearly found the back of the net. Both Olyvia Dowell and Julia Lenhardt delivered strong attempts from the top of the box, with Dowell's sailing just wide and Lenhardt's tipped over the crossbar by TTU goalie Madison White.

The Cowgirls also saw a free kick from 35-yards out almost produce a score in the 32^nd minute, but Kim Rodriguez' blast caromed off the crossbar.

OSU came out of intermission and controlled the attack early on, creating several scoring chances that failed to materialize.

In the 64^th minute, TTU would break the scoreless streak when Kirsten Davis drove the ball endline and delivered a pass to Demi Kouolizakis, who snuck the ball to the near post from six-yards out to give the Red Raiders a 1-0 advantage.

OSU returns to action Sunday at TCU, with kickoff against the Horned Frogs set for 1 p.m.
