• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will continue its season-opening homestand on Wednesday when it welcomes East Texas A&M to town for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
• The contest is the second of a five-game home stretch to open the campaign. OSU is navigating a stretch of five games in nine days to start the year.
• The Cowgirls will host back-to-back contests on Wednesday and Thursday, taking on East Texas A&M and Langston.
• Those two matchups will mark the first time OSU has played home games on consecutive nights since Dec. 5 and 6, 2003 when it hosted Sam Houston State and Fresno State as part of the Cowgirl Classic.
• Stailee Heard is 63 points shy of 1,000 for her career.

• The Cowgirls and Lions have met on one previous occasion with OSU claiming a 67-43 win in Stillwater in 2005.
