Cowboy Golf Closes Regular Season In West Virginia

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will wrap up its regular season this week when it competes at the Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad will be one of 19 teams in action at the par-72, 7,308-yard layout. Play will consist of 54 holes over two days with 36 holes being contested Monday followed by Tuesday's final round.
The Cowboys have competed at the event twice previously, winning both starts. In 2023, the Cowboys rolled to a 20-shot victory with Jonas Baumgartner capturing medalist honors. Last year, OSU notched a 24-shot victory with Eric Lee rolling to an eight-shot win in the individual race.
OSU's lineup for this year's event will consist of juniors Preston Stout, Gaven Lane and Lee as well as sophomore Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson and redshirt freshman Collin Bond.
The Cowboys are coming off a runner-up showing last weekend at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational. From there, junior Ethan Fang competed at The Masters where he posted rounds of 74 and 78.
