2023-24 (Freshman):
Skilled forward with size and athleticism was the Big 12’s youngest active player in 2023-24, turning 18 in late July of 2023… Appeared in 24 of the 32 games, including five straight to end of the year… Totaled 60 points and 36 rebounds in 154 minutes… Shot 52.1% of the field and particularly good around the rim, converting 70.4% of his attempts from 2-point range (19-of-27)… Scored a season-high eight points in the Nov. 12 win over Sam Houston and hit 2-of-4 from deep to help OSU tie a school record for threes in a game (17)… In the Nov. 24 win over Houston Christian, set personal-bests for rebounds (5) and minutes played (17)…. Appeared in 12 of the 18 Big 12 Conference games, highlighted by a five-point effort at Kansas (Jan. 30)… Clocked double-digit minutes in each of the last two regular season contests, capped by a four-point, four-rebound performance at BYU (Mar. 9).

Dallas area standout earned four-star ratings from Rivals and 247sports while rankings No. 79 and 127 on their respective national lists… Signed with OSU in the Fall of 2022 over finalists Arizona State and Missouri… Also held reported offers from Arkansas, Colorado State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, TCU and UNLV... Spent a portion of his high school career at Oak Hill Academy (Va.) competing in the NIBC before returning home to Texas… As a senior at Plano High, was one of nine players named to the inaugural THSCA 6A Boys Basketball Super Elite Team, which recognizes student-athletes from around the state of Texas for their exemplary athletic achievements… Helped his team to a top-10 ranking in Texas’ largest classification and was named First Team UIL All-State in 6A… As a junior averaged 10.4 points and 8.1 rebounds while shooting better than 50% from the field for a Wildcat team that finished the regular season with an unbeaten record… Played for Drive Nation in the Summer of 2022 alongside future Cowboy teammate Jamyron Keller on Nike’s EYBL circuit… Averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists… Shined at the Peach Jam Invitational, putting up averages of 16.8 points and 6.3 rebounds, highlighted by a 33-point game in which he went 5-for-8 from beyond the arc… MVP of the 2021 Pangos All-American Camp.
International Experience:
In the summer before his junior year, helped Team USA to a gold medal at the 2021 FIBA U16 Americas Championship in Xalapa, Mexico, averaging 7.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.0 steal over six games… Attended USA Basketball Junior National Team mini camps in March and October of 2022 – the latter alongside two of his future OSU teammates, Brandon Garrison and Eric Dailey Jr.
