Bio
2025-26 (Freshman):
22-year old freshman is as battle tested as they come with parts of eight seasons on club teams competing in the Greek Basketball League, including four with 2024 EuroLeague champion Panathinaikos Athens, and international caps with Greece’s junior and senior national teams… Nicknamed “Lefty” but is, in fact, right-handed.
Lutz on Mantzoukas:
"Lefteris is a proven competitor with championship experience at the highest levels of European basketball. He has a deep understanding of the game, and his size and elite shooting ability will fit well within our offense. We're excited to welcome him to Stillwater."
Before OSU:
Competed professionally while maintaining his amateur status over parts of the last eight seasons in the Greek Basketball League… A 40% career three-point shooter, he's converted more than 45% of his attempts across 53 EuroLeague appearances (widely considered the world's second toughest basketball league, behind the NBA)… Joined Promitheas Patras' youth program in the summer of 2015 and made his senior level debut less than three years later at age 14... In May 2018 (two months shy of his 15th birthday) became the youngest player ever to start a GBL game, scoring 12 points in 31 minutes of action… Joined Panathinaikos Athens in December, 2020. Over the next four seasons, he helped the club secure two GBL A1 titles, one Greek Cup and two Greek Super Cups along with the 2024 EuroLeague Championship… Won the Greek League’s 2023 Young Player of the Year and Most Improved Player Awards… Spent the majority of the 2024-25 season on loan to Maroussi in Greece’s top professional league where he averaged 7.4 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting 41.9% from distance… In 28 total games with Maroussi, knocked down 40-of-95 three-point attempts (.421).
