2023-24 (Redshirt Year): Competed in a pair of open tournaments while redshirting at heavyweight … Pinned both of his opponents at the Broncho Open en route to the title … Also appeared at the Lindenwood Open … Clinched a spot at the Olympic Team Trials at 97 kg with a title at the Last Chance Qualifier following the season … Impressed at the Olympic Trials, reaching the quarterfinals following a win over eighth-seeded Anthony Cassioppi.
High School: Native of Elkhart, Indiana, where he was named the nation’s No. 1 pound-for-pound wrestler in the class of 2023 … Is a member of the U20 United States World Team and competed at the U20 World Championships just before the start of his freshman year … Champion of the 2023 U.S. Open as the sixth seed, posting five technical falls in six matches … U20 Freestyle National Champion in 2023 to earn his World Team spot … In 2022, he was a member of the U20 United States Greco-Roman team and competed in Bulgaria at the World Championships … Two-time Super 32 champion and a junior freestyle national champion in 2021.
