2023-24: Quickly became a vital piece of the Cowboy lineup at 165 pounds in his lone season as a Cowboy … Was second on the team in wins with a 30-7 record, including a 17-7 mark against ranked opponents and six top-10 victories … Reached the podium at the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row, this time placing a career-best fifth … Had a 6-2 record at nationals, highlighted by a wild comeback win over fifth-seeded Dean Hamiti of Wisconsin in the blood round … Also defeated No. 8 Antrell Taylor of Nebraska and Stanford’s 20th-seeded Hunter Garvin in the fifth-place match at the event … Won 11 of his 15 dual bouts, while securing 13 bonus-point victories throughout the year … Bested a top-tier field at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, defeating four ranked wrestlers as part of his 6-0 showing … Took down No. 3 Cameron Amine of Michigan in the semifinals for the highest-ranked win of his career before toppling Cornell’s seventh-ranked Julian Ramirez in the finals … Named Co-Big 12 Wrestler of the Week on December 5 for his efforts there …Finished third at the Big 12 Championships, avenging his regular season loss to No. 8 Peyton Hall of West Virginia in the third-place match … Beat No. 33 Noah Mulvaney in the Bucknell dual for his first win as a Cowboy, the first of 16 straight to open the year … Had a statement win over No. 4 Dean Hamiti in his exhibition match at the NWCA All-Star Classic in November … Earned selection to the NWCA Scholar All-America team.

2020-21 (NIU): Compiled a 16-4 record on the season with half of his victories earning bonus points … Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second straight season … Posted a 6-1 decision over Danny Braunagel of Illinois for his first career win at NCAAs … Was a finalist at the MAC Championships once again after doing so in the season prior … Was 8-1 in dual matches and won nine matches in a row between January and February.
2019-20 (NIU): Wrestled to a 19-10 record on the season, earning him MAC Freshman of the Year honors … Was a NCAA Championship qualifier at 165 pounds for the first time in his career, but did not compete as the tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19 … Earned All-MAC Honorable Mention honors … Reached the finals of MAC Championships, but ultimately finished as runner-up to Buffalo’s Troy Keller … Defeated 2019 NCAA qualifier Troy Keller of Buffalo, 5-3, in sudden victory in the team’s regular season finale … Finished the season strong, winning eight of his final nine matches.
2018-19 (Northern Illinois, Redshirt Year): Competed at 157 pounds and finished with a 5-4 record, with three of his five victories being decided by pin … Also defeated Penn’s Willy Kaiser in sudden victory, 5-3 … Placed fourth at the Michigan State Open.
