2024-25 (Freshman Year): Tallied an 8-1 record with five bonus-point wins … Started five duals at 133 pounds for the Cowboys; against Oregon State, Arizona State, NC State, West Virginia and Northern Iowa … Went 4-1 in those dual matches, collecting bonus points in two wins … Picked up a tech fall win in his first match at Gallagher-Iba Arena, followed by a pin of NC State’s two-time All-American No. 7 Kai Orine in the third period … Took first place at the Michigan State Open with a flawless 4-0 record.
2023-24 (Redshirt Year): Went an impressive 12-1 throughout his redshirt season, including an 8-1 record in competition attached to the team … Wrestled at 133 pounds at the Lindenwood Open before bumping up to 141 for the remainder of the season … Made his dual debut with a 14-3 major decision over Wyoming’s Stockton O’Brien … Champion at the Lindenwood Open and Golden Norseman Open … Only loss of the season came against teammate Sammy Alvarez in the finals at the Bob Smith Open … Scored bonus points in 11 of his 12 wins … Went 6-0 at 61 kg to claim the U20 freestyle title at the U.S. Open shortly after the season.
