Postgame Notes
Oklahoma State vs Kansas
Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013
• Tonight marked the 11th time in the 161-game series between Oklahoma State and Kansas to go into overtime, with OSU holding a 6-5 edge. It is the third time for a game to go into double-overtime or longer (OSU won a 4 OT game 68-64 on Feb. 15, 1965 and won a 3 OT game 76-73 on Feb. 4, 1981).
• Nine of the 11 losses inside Gallagher-Iba Arena under Coach Travis Ford have been to ranked opponents.
• Tonight marks the first time OSU has lost a double-overtime game since Feb. 24, 2004, when the Cowboys fell 93-92 in 2 OTs at Missouri.
• Kansas made just one three-point attempt in the game. It's the second time in the last four contests that OSU has allowed just one trey (Texas was 1 of 18 in Austin on Feb. 9).
• With two steals against KU, Marcus Smart has tied Texas' T.J. Ford for the third-most steals by a freshman in Big 12 history.
• Michael Cobbins matched his career high with 14 rebounds against KU.
