Cowboy Tennis Set to Begin Five-Match Homestand Starting with Wichita State

The Basics
The 23rd-ranked Oklahoma State's men's tennis team (10-2 overall) will look to extend its six-match winning streak following a 4-1 road victory over Tulane on Wednesday. The Cowboys return home for a five-match homestand starting with Wichita State on Feb. 25 at noon CT. The Pokes will face three top-25 teams during the home stretch, including No. 20 Memphis, No. 16 San Diego and No. 11 Illinois.
OSU boasts a 10-2 record, the best start to a season since 2015-16. The Greenwood Tennis Center remains a hostile environment for opponents, holding a 115-33 all-time record, and an 8-1 mark this season.

Oklahoma State appeared at No. 23 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's latest rankings. This marks the highest OSU ranking since May 26, 2021, when the Pokes ranked 22nd.
OSU's court one player, Tyler Zink, notched his fourth consecutive appearance in the rankings during the 2023-24 season. His ranking marks the first time a Cowboy has appeared in the top-15 since Oleksandr Nedovyesov was ranked 11th nationally on May 28, 2010. Also earning a singles ranking was Alex Garcia, a graduate out of Leon, Spain. Garcia has seven wins to his name in singles action, including a ranked win over MTSU's No. 47 Marcel Kamrowski.

The Cowboys also earned a ranking on the doubles side. Zink and Isaac Becroft appeared No. 24, going 8-2 in the fall, securing four matches in a row to win the ITA Fall Regionals in Stillwater.
