Oklahoma State from a Distance
Oklahoma State Softball enters the postseason with momentum on its side as the Cowgirls have won 21 of their last 26 contests. The Pokes boast 10 wins over opponents in the Top 25 of the RPI, including wins over half of the top eight national seeds. The 2026 Cowgirls are on pace to set a new program record for runs per game (6.36) while playing the 18th-toughest schedule in the nation.
The Pokes are led by Big 12 Pitcher of the Year Ruby Meylan, who ranks among the top 15 nationally in wins (27, third), innings pitched (222.0, third), shutouts (9, fourth), complete games (20, eighth) and strikeouts (205, 12th). The two-time All-American is well on her way to earning her third All-America distinction as she became just the fourth OSU pitcher to be named the conference's top hurler. Offensively, first team All-Big 12 selection Rosie Davis has performed to an All-America level as the junior third baseman has tallied double-digit totals in doubles and home runs while driving in 46 runs on the year. Senior Amanda Hasler leads the team with 58 RBIs and a .641 slugging percentage. Tia Warsop paces the team with a .349 batting average, while Claire Timm's batting average has never dropped below .333 this season. All-Big 12 Freshman team performers Aubrey Jones and Jayelle Austin have been standouts, along with the All-Big 12 defensive team catcher, Audrey Schneidmiller, who is the only catcher in the Big 12 with a perfect fielding percentage this season.
