JUNIOR COLLEGE: All-American and two-time all-conference selection at Cowley County … made 45 relief appearances in career and was 6-1 with 12 saves and 82 strikeouts in 57 2/3 innings … was 3-0 with five saves as a freshman before a sophomore season that saw him go 3-1 with seven saves and 48 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings for a Tigers club that advanced to the JUCO World Series.
