HIGH SCHOOL: Starred for two seasons at Parkview Baptist HS ... career .426 hitter with 87 hits, 13 doubles, 12 triples, four homers, 59 RBIs and 95 stolen bases … all-state honoree as a senior and also captured the Gold Glove Award and District MVP … hit .469 with nine doubles, eight triples, 27 RBIs and 49 stolen bases.
