2025 All-SEC Freshman Team
Coach Hoyt on Deng: “Ting is an excellent addition to our roster. She has elite size for a guard that will be a huge asset on both ends of the floor. The creativity she brings offensively really excites me. She can score with the ball in her hand and is exceptional as a catch-and-shoot shooter as well. Her ability to space the floor makes our team more lethal offensively. She has something very few players have, the clutch gene, with her ability to make big shots in big moments in big games.”
At Baylor (2025-26): Marked as the No. 80 transfer portal prospect in the USA Today Top 100… Played in 33 games in her sophomore season at Baylor… Averaged 6.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game while contributing with 16.8 minutes per game… Finished with a 42.3 field goal percentage and shot the three-ball at a 37% clip… Scored in double figures on seven occasions… Poured in a season-best 22 points against Texas Tech on December 21 behind a 4-for-5 effort from the 3-point line… Scored the game-winning jumper in overtime to secure the win over Davidson in the WBCA Showcase on November 22.
At Auburn (2024-25): Joined the Tigers for the final 13 games of the regular season… Played in 12 contests with eight starts… Named to SEC All-Freshman team… Averaged 11.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game… Led the Tigers with 27 made threes on 74 attempts (36.5%)… Reached double-figures in scoring in nine of 12 games… Dropped a career-high 27 points and nine rebounds against Vanderbilt on February 16… That scoring output was the highest for an Auburn freshman since 2017.
With Chinese National Team: Competed for China’s U24 team in FIBA 3x3 competition… Led team to victory at FIBA 3x3 Series Debrecen as she scored 11 points with five rebounds in the championship game… Also played on U18 national team in FIBA Asia Cup… Ranked as the No. 27 player in China.
